The MidAtlantic uPortal Users Group Meeting scheduled for April 18, 2002 at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. [ Announcement | Directions ]

There has been discussion of the formation of Regional uPortal Users Group to provide local uPortal support to supplement the uPortal Developers meetings or presentations at the JA-SIG Conference.

This site has been established to provide a means for the regional users groups to share the information presented at the regional meetings with the uPortal community at large.

It is expected that the regional users group meetings are likely to focus more on uPortal implementation, channel development, and content management issues, than technical development, but the content of the meetings ultimately lies in the hands of those running it.

The first Mid-Atlantic Regional uPortal User's Group Meeting was held January 29, 2002 at Princeton University. Representative from Rutgers, Columbia University, Villanova, University of Delaware, and Princeton University attended the meeting.
